June is almost over, and Summer Adventure 2026 is approaching the halfway point. But if this is the first you’re learning about it, don’t worry — it’s not too late to get started on your own Creature Quest!
Get Started
- Visit any library location, Mobile Library stop, or our online summer adventure space
- Pick up an activity tracker and activity sheets
- Use the prompts on our activity sheets to spark your creativity
We will have different activities throughout the summer to give you more chances to win prizes!
Share What You Read or Did
- When you complete an activity, share what you did online or in person! Visit your local AC Library or, opens a new window Mobile Library stop, opens a new window to get a stamp in your activity tracker, and a ticket to enter our prize drawings. These activities are easily adapted for all abilities! There are no wrong answers—just use your imagination and have fun!
- Collect and share your summer memories! Enjoy the Submission Showcase, opens a new window of entries at the library and online. Let us know if we can share your entry to inspire others to join the fun!
Get a Book Gift and Prize Drawing Tickets
- After you submit your first activity, visit your local AC Library location to get a book gift! You will also be entered into a prize drawing for a chance to win an exciting prize.
- This year, you can choose which prize drawings you'd like to enter by picking your favorite prize category. If you win, a staff member will contact you. The more you participate, the more chances you have to win!
- Get eight stamps in your activity tracker and win a tote bag (while supplies last)!
- For a sneak peek at our prizes, follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Many of our prizes come from local businesses in Alameda County.
