Castro Valley Reads

One Valley, One Book, Many Conversations

Castro Valley Reads logo.

Castro Valley Reads is an annual literary program that asks our residents to read and discuss the same book. It builds community by encouraging a thoughtful exchange of ideas and celebrates the joy of reading together.

In addition to discussion groups, Castro Valley Reads includes special events inspired by the themes in the book.

Stay tuned each January for an announcement of the book selection. The program continues through the early part of each year with a finale event celebrating the author in April.

If you would like to be on the Castro Valley Reads email list, let us know at castrovalley@aclibrary.org.

What if all of Castro Valley read the same book? Let’s find out what we could learn together.
