Free Grab-and-Go Meals for Kids and Teens

Grab-and-go Meal Program is done for the year, but Food Distribution continues!

Alameda County Library was proud to offer free healthy Grab and Go meals for children and teens at our San Lorenzo, Union City, and Newark libraries this past Summer.

The library offered the healthy meals in partnership with the San Lorenzo Unified School District and Newark School Dristrict through the USDA Summer Food Service Program.

We hope you enjoyed the healthy meals and activities to help young minds and bodies grow and thrive!

While the program is done for the year, please check back for any updates about possible future programs.

Groceries continue to be available for adults and caregivers Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the San Lorenzo library, and are provided on a first come, first served basis. No application, income verification, or identification are needed.
