Explore the Site: Learn & Connect and Support ACL

Let’s explore two important tabs in the header of our new website, opens a new windowLearn & Connect and Support ACL.

Learn & Connect

The Learn & Connect tab is where you can find information about our programs and services, including those that are county-wide, as well as explore resources available for teens and families. Let’s walk through a few of those pages.

Click Learn & Connect in the header. Familiarize yourself with the pages in this tab.

Visit the Education & Literacy page to sign up for tutoring or apply to become a tutor. Look here for reading lists and helpful blog posts geared toward English-language learners. The page also features Learner Writings, so be sure to read them when you get the chance!

Select the Families and Teens pages, and note the tabs at the top of each page. Both pages feature booklists, Events, and Homework Help resources. Visit the Families page for information on family and parenting support, early learning, and much more.

The Teens page includes volunteering opportunities and resources related to test prep, college, and jobs.

Learn how we’re reaching out to Alameda County communities in need by visiting the Social Justice Services page. Find resources related to finding a jobpursuing a degree, re-entering your community, and locating food distribution sites.
