The results are in! AC Library is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2025 Día Bookmark Contest. This contest was inspired by Día del Niño/Día del Libro (Children’s Day/Book Day), a holiday celebrated in many Latin American countries on April 30. Throughout the month of April, children and teens under 18 were invited to show off their creativity by writing or drawing about their culture, home language, or favorite memory of childhood literacy.
We were overjoyed by the incredible artwork, enthusiasm, and large number of entries received from young artists across Alameda County. On behalf of everyone at AC Library, thank you to everyone who participated, and a special congratulations to our winners!

¡Ya tenemos los resultados! AC Library se complace en anunciar a los ganadores del Concurso de Marcapáginas del Día 2025. Este concurso se inspiró en el Día del Niño/Día del Libro, una festividad que se celebra en muchos países latinoamericanos el 30 de abril. Durante todo el mes de abril, se invitó a niños y adolescentes menores de 18 años a mostrar su creatividad escribiendo o dibujando sobre su cultura, su lengua materna o su recuerdo favorito de la alfabetización infantil.
