Important eLibrary News about The Economist

eLibrary News

The Last Day to Read the Economist in Electronic Format is January 31

The Economist will no longer be available starting February 1, 2023. The last issue will be the January 28 edition, and all back issues will be removed on February 1. The removal is because of newly required lending model changes by The Economist that are incompatible with how other magazines are made available from OverDrive. We apologize for the inconvenience and invite you to check out any of the thousands of other eMagazines in our collection.

Full-text access (no illustrations) of The Economist is available through Gale OneFile: News.  Check it out through the direct link: The Economist (Gale)

Paper Edition Still Available

You can continue to read the paper edition of the magazine - check out our catalog for branch availability: The Economist
