Celebrate Valentine's Day with more hoopla!

With Valentine’s Day approaching, we wanted to share a special gift for Alameda County Library members. For a limited time, we are increasing the number of hoopla checkouts to 8 per month!

Starting on February 1, 2022, you will be able to check out 8 items per month instead of 6 from hoopla Digital.  We expect this increase to be available for the rest of 2022!

hoopla Digital offers eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, streaming music, and streaming video - all without holds and without waiting.  For more information about getting started, check out our Quick Start Guide.

Try the hoopla Bingepass

This is a perfect time to try the new hoopla BingePass.  Choose from The Great Courses, eMagazines, and Curiosity Stream.  Each type of pass uses one of your monthly checkouts and allows you to view as much of the content as you want for seven days.
