Alameda County Library is proud to offer free healthy grab and go meals for children and teens at our San Lorenzo Library, starting on Friday, August 20. Grab and Go meals include breakfast and lunch. See our meal schedule below for dates and times.
Grocery bags, produce and bread are available for adults and caregivers Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (starting Friday, August 20) at the San Lorenzo Library.
Meals and bags of groceries will be provided on a first come, first served basis. No sign ups, application, income verification, or identification are needed.
The library offers healthy meals in partnership with the San Lorenzo Unified School District through the USDA Summer Food Service Program. The USDA has extended its waiver to offer free meals for the 2021 - 2022 school year. We hope you will come for healthy meals and activities to help young minds and bodies grow and thrive!
Who Can Participate?
Nutritious grab and go meals are provided for:
- All children 18 years or younger and persons 19 or older with a physical or mental disability, whom also participates in a public or private education programs during the school year. Children need not be present.
Produce, bread, and bags of groceries (as supply allows) are available for:
- Adults and Caregivers

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12 pm – 1 pm
