Dublin hosts many re-occurring events. Among the favorites are:
Early Literacy at Dublin Library
Baby Bounce (birth to 14 months)
This program is for babies that are not yet walking. We will look at a few short books, practice a lot of rhymes and bounces, and learn some fun new songs. Stay and play will follow the 20 minute program, giving caregivers and babies a chance to socialize.
S.M.A.R.T. Sing, Move, and Read Together (walking to 36 months)
As your child’s first and best teacher, we invite you to come and participate in activities with your child. Join us for singing, stories, fun with rhythm and creative play.
Preschool Storytime (recommended for ages 3 to 5)
Have fun engaging with books, songs, and activities! This program is focused on children ages 3 to 5 (younger siblings can attend S.M.A.R.T or Baby Bounce). Parents may participate, or may wait outside of the room while the program is going on.
Ongoing Monthly Programs:
Arts and Crafts: This program is intended for children ages 8-12, and limited to 25 kids. Free tickets will be handed out the day of the program in front of the Virginia Bennett Room, beginning 5 minutes before the program start time.
Family Board Game Night: Join us once a month at family board game night. Friendly teen volunteers will be available to show you how to play a new board game, or to join in if more game players are needed. We have a variety of games to play, including checkers, Monopoly Jr., Connect 4, Uno, matching games, and more.
