Join us in celebrating Black History Month with a series of films throughout February.

Black History Month Film Series: Selma

Learn more about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in the middle of the Civil Rights Movement in 1964 through this Academy Award Winning film.

Black History Month Film Series: BlacKKKlansman

A black detective sets out to infiltrate the Colorado chapter of the Ku Klux Klan with the help of his Jewish colleague. In the midst of the 1970s civil rights movement, they risk their lives to obtain insider information on the violent organization.

Attendance is limited to the first 60 people and not guaranteed. Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime. Films may not be suitable for all viewers.

Albany Library is presenting this movie in partnership with Albany FilmFest.
