The company responsible for the ACL mobile app will no longer support the app. As a result, Alameda County Library will discontinue the app effective February 17, 2019. The Library is looking into other mobile apps for an improved library experience.
Library members’ highest usage of the ACL mobile app is to access the online library catalog. The Library recommends accessing the online library catalog through its website at www.aclibrary.org. The website is responsive and adapts to all mobile devices.

Library members who like the ease of storing library card barcodes on the ACL mobile app can keep this convenient feature by taking a photo of their barcode and storing it on their mobile phone. Then they can simply scan the photo of their barcode for checking out items at self-checkout kiosks.
